My First Jeepney Ride

Last Monday, my mom told me that my brother and I were going to ride a jeep, to experience other people’s transportation.  I thought that it would be cool because it was going to be the first time for me to ride a jeep.  My mom told us to get ready.  She said, “Just wear regular clothes”, so I wore my purple shirt, jeans and purple rubber shoes.
That's me walking out of our house.
My brother and I all ready to go.
My Mom, my Brother and I going on to our adventure.
When we were all ready, we went outside and waited for a tricycle, when we found one, we rode it. It was kind of nice but not really cause it felt like it was going to break. So I felt a little scared.

That's me in the tricycle.

My Brother and I in the jeepney when there were just a few people.
When we got down from the tricycle, we went to look for a jeep. We saw one that was empty, so we went inside.  Because we were the first ones, we got to choose where to sit.  And then a bunch of people came in.  I started feeling uncomfortable because I felt squished and crowded. I also felt scared because maybe the driver won’t bring us to the place we wanted to go.

We were ready with our six Pesos each. I treated my brother!

While the jeep was moving, my brother saw a guy standing at the back of the jeep. So he asked my mom if he could do that too.  After that guy left he went there and stood there too! I wanted to do the same thing, but my mom said “You’re to young to stand there, maybe when your older.”

So when we arrived at Robinson’s Mall, we got down from the jeep.  Then we had to cross the over pass to get inside Robinson’s Mall.

My Brother and I crossing the over pass.  There were too many writings on the walls.

I learned that I am blessed because I am always comfortable riding in a car and I thank God for this. I now know how other people feel so uncomfortable when they go to other places riding the jeep.

That's me enjoying my reward at the Mall.
